SAFETY VALVES
The purpose of the safety air valves is to ensure a safe inlet pressure when energized and a safe exhaust when de-energized. The safety function of a single valve consists of a failsafe closing by an air and a mechanical spring force when the electrical signal is turned off. The valve can be used either as a single device or as a redundant manifold assembly. Assembled on a manifold, the valves operate as a redundant valves package. The integrated porting allows the connection of pressure switches for pressure detection. Using a redundant solution allows to achieve a higher safety integrity level and a higher performance level.
